EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 19's heavier focus on the compact disc's mysterious functions, Episode 20 pulls back and lets Natsumi exist as a regular kid navigating the awkwardness of adolescence. It's a deliberate tonal reset at the series' midpoint — roughly the 40% mark of the 51-episode run — that adds texture to Natsumi's character before the story demands more of her. The self-discovery themes introduced here are likely to resurface as her dual responsibilities grow more complicated in the episodes ahead.
