📖 SYNOPSIS

A lazy, manga-obsessed third grader named Momoko Sakura lives in 1970s suburban Japan, and honestly, that's the whole show. She goes to school, bickers with her older sister, tries to get out of homework, and hangs out with her best friend Tama-chan. There's no grand plot, no dramatic twists — just a kid being a kid in a small town where the biggest crisis might be forgetting to do a class assignment or accidentally spending her allowance on something dumb.

This 1995 TV series from Nippon Animation picks up from the earlier run and continues adapting the beloved shoujo manga with the same gentle, slice-of-life rhythm.
