La storia della Arcana Famiglia
Oshimeter
Synopsis
On a sun-soaked Italian island, the daughter of a mafia boss, Felicità, finds out that her dad just announced that whoever wins a fighting tournament gets to lead the family — and marry her. She's not thrilled about that last part. So she enters the tournament herself, alongside two guys who've been close to her for years, Libertà and Nova, each with their own reasons for fighting. The catch is that every member of this organization, the Arcana Famiglia, has made a contract with a tarot card that gives them a unique supernatural ability — super strength, invisibility, mind reading, that kind of thing. The whole thing plays out across 12 episodes with an Italian-inspired setting that gives it a different flavor from most anime in this space. It's a reverse harem at its core, but the action side actually gets some attention too, with the card-based power system keeping fights interesting enough. If you liked Hakuouki's blend of historical setting and bishounen drama, or the character dynamics in Uta no Prince-sama, this hits a similar note but with a more action-packed wrapper. Diabolik Lovers fans might find the premise familiar too, though this one's lighter in tone and Felicità has way more agency than most reverse harem leads — she's actively fighting for her own freedom rather than just reacting to what happens around her. It's a decent watch if you're in the mood for something that doesn't take itself too seriously.
