Synopsis
A full scholarship brings Tetsuro Tanaka to a new high school expecting a fresh start — until he shows up and realizes he's the only guy enrolled at an all-girls academy. Before he can process that, the school's powerful student council already has it out for him, and a girl named Asuka is claiming they have some deep connection he doesn't remember. His saving grace is the Koi Koi Seven, a ragtag group of six girls protecting him from the chaos — and each one is stranger than the last. One wields firearms, one weaponizes her own hair, one is a robot strategist, and the list keeps going from there. The sci-fi elements give the show a Super Sentai parody flavor underneath all the romantic comedy noise, which sets it apart from the standard harem setup. It's not trying to be deep. The tone is light, a little chaotic, and leans hard into the absurdity of its own premise. If you've watched Love Hina or Tenchi Muyo and wanted something with more outright weirdness baked in, this scratches that itch. Fans of Negima will also find the blend of school comedy and over-the-top power displays familiar ground. At 13 episodes, it doesn't overstay its welcome. It knows what it is — a comedic, romantic romp where the situations escalate fast and the characters carry most of the fun.
