EPISODE CONTEXT
After Episode 4's more confrontational energy established real stakes for Kenichi's martial arts journey, Episode 5 deliberately downshifts into a transitional episode that deepens the Kenichi-Miu relationship and lets the audience breathe before the next wave of threats. Still early in a 50-episode run, this is the show building its emotional foundation — the personal connections that will matter when the fights escalate. It sets the stage for Kenichi's continued growth by grounding his motivation in something beyond survival.
