EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off a more personal, character-driven previous episode, episode 28 pivots back to the central Ragnarok conflict and ratchets up the pressure significantly. Niijima's capture forces Kenichi into reactive mode, testing his growth against increasingly dangerous opponents. This installment directly sets the stage for the upcoming Siegfried confrontation, one of the more anticipated clashes in the Ragnarok arc's back half.
