EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off the more combative Yomi and Yoki confrontation, this episode functions as a tonal breather at episode five of fifty-two — still deep in the series' character-establishment phase. Rather than advancing the main threat, it builds the emotional and moral foundation Yoshimori will need later, specifically around how he relates to spirits who aren't straightforwardly hostile.
