EPISODE CONTEXT
This episode follows directly from 'The Battle of Karasumori,' where Yoshimori made the bold choice to allow himself to be captured in order to confront Kaguro on his own terms. 'Kokuboro's Hostage' plants the protagonists firmly inside enemy territory, raising the stakes considerably.
