EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Nanami's kidnapping in episode 4, this installment deals with the fallout of her divine authority being directly challenged, raising the stakes of her tenuous position as a land god. It deepens the trust dynamic between Nanami and Tomoe at a critical early-season turning point. The episode also lays groundwork for episode 6, where Nanami's human limitations — including falling ill — will further test how she balances mortal fragility with godly responsibility.
