EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the premiere's whirlwind setup — where Nanami went from homeless to land god — this second episode begins the work of building out her world by introducing Kurama as both a school complication and a supernatural wildcard. It establishes the show's core formula of balancing everyday life with divine responsibilities. The character dynamics seeded here, particularly between Nanami, Tomoe, and Kurama, will carry through the season's early stretch as Nanami proves whether she's fit for the role she never asked for.
