EPISODE CONTEXT
Directly continuing from Episode 8's tengu stronghold infiltration, this episode deepens the conflicts and alliances Nanami has been building throughout the second half of the season. Sitting at the three-quarter mark of a 12-episode run, it functions as a critical pivot point where consequences start crystallizing. Episode 10 will deal with the fallout from the power plays and relationships tested here, pushing toward the season's climax.
