EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the emotional high of Nanami's confession in Episode 5, this installment wisely downshifts to let the cast breathe while planting important seeds. Botanmaru's introduction and the tengu thread he brings with him are clearly designed to drive the back half of the season. At the midpoint of 12 episodes, this is a classic pivot episode — closing one emotional chapter and opening the door to a new arc.
