EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the season's midpoint approach, episode 9 continues the Crusaders' Stand-user gauntlet as they push through Southeast Asia toward Egypt and DIO. Following the claustrophobic horror of the Ebony Devil encounter, this episode shifts to a more deception-focused threat that keeps escalating the variety and danger of enemy Stands. It directly sets the stage for the intense two-part 'Emperor and Hanged Man' arc, as the group's journey grows increasingly perilous with each new assassin sent their way.
