This show had the pieces to be something way better, but it just never fully came together. Ray was not developed enough and this left much of the story feeling like a flatline. His brother was somewhat interesting but between the weak story and lack of any major enagement issues.

Quick Takes
View all 26 takesFranklin definitely seems to portray a legitimate threat. The tension in the penultimate episode really carries weight. The battles show high levels of complexity and intensity, but I still do not feel entirely engaged by the villain. It's well crafted suspenseful buildup that could benefit from more energy.
The visuals hurt the episode even though it had a great vibe. There are some good battles but the animation isn't good, which makes it difficult to get into the episode. You can feel how this is leading up to the climax of this arc, but they could use a fair bit of touch-up work to make it right.
