EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the warmth of episode 3's budding connections and small victories, episode 4 pumps the brakes to confront what's still unresolved inside Uka — her past traumas and the gap between wanting closeness and feeling worthy of it. At the one-third mark of this 12-episode season, this is the show doing essential groundwork, deepening Uka's characterization before episode 5 ('A Great Person') shifts focus toward broader social dynamics and her expanding world beyond Kai.
