EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 37's more emotionally grounded story about the loss of the gang's hideout, Episode 38 deliberately shifts gears into lighter, self-contained territory — a palette cleanser at roughly the midpoint of the series' back half. It functions as a breather episode before Episode 39, 'Trap of the Sweet Hotcakes,' which signals a return to plot-forward challenges and adventures for Himeko and her friends.
