EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 4's spotlight on Koyomi and her stage world, the series continues its pattern of rotating focus through each of Chitose's unconventional mother figures, this time handing the episode to Yayoi. As the fifth and final episode of the OVA run, this installment serves as both a character showcase and a capstone to the series' broader theme of found family built through wildly different personalities converging around one young man.
