All he wants is to live alone in his late parents' house — a quiet high schooler named Chitose Hitotose, no family, no fuss. Then five of his teachers decide they're going to be his mothers. That's the premise, and it commits to it completely. You've got the Japanese Classics teacher, the science teacher, the school nurse, the art teacher, and the PE teacher, each with completely different personalities and completely different ideas about what this kid needs. The result is equal parts chaotic household comedy and genuinely warm found-family material, because underneath the slapstick there's a real thread about a lonely orphan slowly adjusting to people who actually care about him — even if they express it by tackling him in the hallway. If you've seen Love Hina or Tenchi Muyo! and enjoyed the crowded-house energy, this scratches a similar itch with a twist that keeps it from feeling like a straight retread. Fans of Negima! will also recognize the teacher-student dynamic played for comedy. At five OVA episodes, it doesn't overstay its welcome. The tone stays light and youthful throughout, blending romantic undertones with the kind of wholesome chaos that makes these older harem comedies charming rather than exhausting.
