EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode run, Episode 8 builds directly on the identity struggles and emotional revelations Mizuki confronted in Episode 7, deepening the internal conflict rather than resolving it. This is squarely in the series' emotional midpoint — past the setup, not yet at the climax — where relationships are being pressure-tested before the final act.
