Good Morning Call

Nao Yoshikawa's parents relocate, prompting her to move into her own apartment excited for some independence — then she discovers her popular, standoffish classmate Hisashi Uehara is living there too. They were both scammed into the same place, neither can afford to back out, and breaking up their arrangement means word getting around school. So they keep it secret and figure out how to share a space with someone they barely know. This single OVA episode picks up a year into that arrangement, by which point they're actually a couple. The tension has shifted from 'how do we hide this' to the quieter, more relatable kind — Nao is stressing over Uehara's upcoming birthday and realizes she completely missed it.
