📖 SYNOPSIS
Gintama Season 2 plunges viewers back into the eccentric world of Edo, where Shinpachi Shimura returns after a year to find a city turned upside down. His friends at the Yorozuya, Gintoki and Kagura, are unrecognizable, and the entire population has undergone drastic personality and physical changes. Even Shinpachi's sister, Otae, is married and pregnant. Overwhelmed, Shinpachi reluctantly joins the Shinsengumi, only to discover that Vice Chief Hijikata is the sole individual unaffected by the strange phenomenon. Together, they must navigate the altered landscape, uncovering the mystery behind the transformations and striving to restore Edo to its former, albeit still chaotic, glory. The season promises more of the series' signature blend of humor, parody, and action, set against the backdrop of a vibrant, alien-filled Edo.
