EPISODE CONTEXT
At episode 7 of 26, the season is firmly in its stand-alone groove, steadily building the thematic foundation that its larger 'Laughing Man' conspiracy will eventually demand. 'Idolater' follows 'Meme,' which examined copycat behavior and collective delusion, and the thread of identity replication carries directly into this episode's central mystery.
