EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the back half of a standalone two-part filler arc, picking up directly from the Valkyries' introduction in Episode 44 and wrapping that storyline with closure before the main journey resumes. Sitting at Episode 45 of 113, the series is still in its earlier third, establishing the recurring emotional rhythms of Tetsurou and Maetel's travels. This arc does not advance the overarching story toward Maetel's secrets or the Machine Planet, but serves as a character-building detour between main-plot developments.
