EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting just past the halfway mark at episode 7 of 12, this installment follows the Halloween-themed 'Trick or Treat' episode and continues the show's gradual deepening of how magic coexists with daily life in Aomori. Rather than escalating conflict, it broadens the world by introducing new spaces and interactions that enrich the characters' community. This sets the foundation for the season's back half, where Makoto's growing comfort with her witchcraft and her relationships with those around her become even more textured.
