EPISODE CONTEXT
Arriving after the conclusion of the Emperor Pilaf saga and the destruction of his flying fortress, episode 33 sits at a transitional point as Goku picks up his Dragon Ball hunt once more. This filler episode bridges the gap between early arcs and the Red Ribbon Army saga by formally introducing Colonel Silver and the military organization that will become Goku's primary antagonist for a significant stretch of the series. Skippable for plot purposes, but it does establish the tone and stakes of what's coming next.
