EPISODE CONTEXT
As episode 152 of 153, this is the penultimate chapter of the entire original Dragon Ball series, directly following Goku and Chi-Chi's cursed mountain encounter in 'Outrageous Octagon.' While it is a filler episode not drawn from the source manga, it functions as the critical setup piece for the series finale, 'The End, The Beginning,' by introducing key mystical elements and the guardian Annin needed to resolve the Ox-King crisis.
