EPISODE CONTEXT
Arriving at episode 143 of 153, this is the climactic centerpiece of the World Martial Arts Tournament arc and effectively the endgame of the original Dragon Ball series. It follows directly from Piccolo Jr.'s decisive defeat of Kami, which set the stage for this final-round confrontation with Goku.
