EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the team's arrival in America and resource-scouting efforts in episode 3, 'Dr. X' introduces the season's primary antagonist, Dr. Xeno, fundamentally reshaping the conflict from survival against nature to a battle of scientific minds. This is the early-season pivot point at episode 4 of 12, transitioning directly into the 'Doctor vs. Doctor' confrontation that will define much of the remaining arc. Everything before this was groundwork; everything after escalates from the rivalry established here.
