Dr. Stone: Science Future
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Senku Ishigami has one dead-serious goal in a world where civilization got reset to zero thousands of years ago: reach the moon. Not metaphorically — he literally needs to build a rocket ship to get there. Dr. Stone: Science Future picks up after the Petrification Kingdom arc, and the goal has never been crazier: the mastermind behind turning all of humanity to stone is apparently chilling on the lunar surface, so naturally Senku's response is "guess we're building a spaceship from scratch." The catch is they need resources and people from all over the globe, so the Kingdom of Science sets sail on the Perseus for a continent-hopping journey to gather everything they need. This 12-episode TV series from TMS Entertainment keeps doing what Dr. Stone does best — taking real scientific principles and making them genuinely fun to follow. Senku doesn't just hand-wave his way through problems; the show walks you through the logic while keeping things comedic and breezy enough that it never feels like a lecture. The cast keeps growing with specialists who each bring something to the table, and watching them collaborate is honestly half the appeal. If you liked the problem-solving energy of Steins;Gate, the way Cells at Work makes education entertaining, or the group dynamics and escape-plan tension of The Promised Neverland, this scratches a similar itch. It's science class if science class involved sailing across a post-apocalyptic ocean to eventually punch the moon.
