📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime begins in Berlin, May 1, 1945, as the Red Army advances. A group of Nazi officers perform a ritual, using the city's carnage to summon the LDO, supermen destined to destroy the world. The ritual's success is left ambiguous.
The story shifts to present-day Suwahara City, where Ren Fujii recovers in a hospital after a brutal fight with his friend, Shirou. Ren is haunted by Shirou's unsettling words about the city's inhabitants losing their sanity, and by recurring nightmares featuring a guillotine and black-clad knights. He struggles to find peace, unaware of the connection between his dreams and the events of the past, as the city's dark secrets begin to surface.
