Synopsis

Dejiko and her tiny companion arrive on Earth with vague dreams of becoming idols, immediately ending up working retail at a shop called Gamers — and the catgirl happens to have a speech quirk that ends every sentence with 'nyo.' That's pretty much the entire setup, and honestly it works better than it has any right to. Dejiko (short for Di Gi Charat) is loud, self-important, and ends every sentence with 'nyo.' Her quiet friend Puchiko says almost nothing. And then there's Rabi~en~Rose, a girl with bunny ears who already had idol ambitions before these two showed up and made everything more chaotic. The three of them are stuck together in a store full of eccentric customers, including otaku who take their hobby very seriously and some genuinely strange regulars. The humor is fast, absurd, and very much aimed at people who recognize the world it's poking fun at. There's meta-humor baked into almost every scene, the kind of thing that rewards anyone familiar with otaku culture without being completely inaccessible if you're not. Madhouse handles the chibi character designs with a punchy, gag-driven energy that keeps the two episodes moving. If you enjoyed Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat or the chaotic spirit of Sgt. Frog, this fits right alongside those. Ninja Nonsense fans will also feel at home with the nonsense-first, logic-never approach. At two episodes, it asks almost nothing from you and delivers exactly the kind of low-stakes, goofy distraction it promises.
