EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the second and final part of the 'A Code of Stars and Tobacco' storyline, resolving the murder mystery established in Episode 374 with the discovery of skeletal remains at a mountain pension. As a canon standalone case, it doesn't advance the overarching Black Organization narrative but showcases the Detective Boys ensemble in a satisfying self-contained mystery. The next episode, 'Time Limit at 3 o'clock,' shifts to a new standalone case.
