EPISODE CONTEXT
This episode arrives after 'The Osaka Double Mystery - Naniwa Swordsman and Toyotomi's Castle,' pivoting from a traditional Osaka-set detective case into an entirely different setting with courtroom drama. As a filler two-parter, it doesn't advance the overarching Black Organization storyline but deepens the Kisaki-Kogoro relationship. Part 1 sets up the legal confrontation that concludes in Episode 265, 'Courtroom Battle: Kisaki vs. Kogoro (Part 2).'
