EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the second half of 'The Glassy Water's Surface,' directly continuing the investigation introduced in Part 1 (Episode 1174), where the Mouri group first encountered the Kyoto case and its ties to Urashima Taro folklore. As a standalone filler arc, it has no direct impact on the series' main storyline involving the Black Organization or other ongoing threads, but it serves as a solid self-contained mystery between major plot developments.
