EPISODE CONTEXT
This episode closes the two-part case that began in Episode 1148, where the Detective Boys stumbled onto a murder scene at a beach hut. The pairing of Wakasa and Okiya alongside Conan continues to tease the larger ongoing narrative threads surrounding their true identities and allegiances. Following this resolution, the series shifts gears into a new storyline with Episode 1150, 'Kaitou Kid and the Crown Trick (Part 1),' pivoting from a grounded mystery into the flashier heist territory.
