EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 1 established Ryoma's solitary forest life and introduced the Jamil family as his first meaningful human contact; this second episode builds on that foundation by deepening those relationships and pushing Ryoma toward his decision to leave the forest. As the second of twelve episodes, it serves as the critical bridge between Ryoma's hermit existence and his integration into the wider world, setting up the societal exploration and adventures that will define the rest of the season.
