BanG Dream-chan

Synopsis
Take every character from all ten BanG Dream bands, shrink them down into chibi form, and throw them into absurd comedy sketches — that's basically the whole deal here. GANSO! BanG Dream Chan is a 52-episode ONA series of short episodes where the massive cast of the BanG Dream franchise gets to drop the drama and just be ridiculous. The first couple episodes set the tone right away: the characters reintroduce themselves in their tiny new forms, get into silly situations like arguing over a bright red sports car, and generally act nothing like their serious counterparts. It's self-aware about the whole thing too, regularly breaking the fourth wall and poking fun at itself. If you've watched BanG Dream Girls Band Party Pico, this is cut from the same cloth — bite-sized comedy that works best when you already know and care about these characters. The humor leans into exaggerated personality traits and chaotic group dynamics, kind of like how the chibi Love Live or K-On shorts play off established character chemistry for laughs. Each episode is short enough that you can knock out a bunch in one sitting without committing to anything heavy. It's not trying to be deep or move you to tears. It's just a chill hangout with characters you probably already like, doing dumb stuff in a cute art style. If you're a BanG Dream fan looking for something light between bigger entries in the franchise, this fits that gap pretty naturally.
