"Ascendance of a Bookworm" follows Myne, a young girl who harbors the memories and passion of Urano Motosu, a librarian from a different world. Reborn into a medieval-esque society where books are scarce and only accessible to the privileged, Myne is determined to bring literacy to the masses. Despite her weak constitution and the limitations of her new environment, she uses her knowledge and ingenuity to invent new methods of creating books and spreading the joy of reading.
