EPISODE CONTEXT
Positioned at episode 19 of 26, this lands firmly in the series' escalating back half. It follows the emotionally heavy 'Chimera Tower' arc where Elk confronted the horrors of chimera experimentation, and pivots toward the interpersonal fallout now rippling through the cast. The confrontation between Toshu and Shu directly sets the stage for 'Meet Again,' where Elk's reunion with Arc and strained relationship with Lieza take center focus.
