📖 SYNOPSIS
*Aoki Uru*, planned as a sequel to *Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise*, is set 50 years after the events of the original film. The story centers on a group of fighter pilots. Production began in March 1992 under Gainax, with Hiroyuki Yamaga as director and screenwriter, and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto as character designer. However, financial difficulties led to the project's cancellation in July 1993. In 2013, Gainax announced the revival of *Aoki Uru*, with the original creative team returning. Production was later taken over by studio Gaina, aiming for a 2022 theatrical release, though the film's completion remains in progress.
