EPISODE CONTEXT
As the first of two canon specials, this episode steps outside the main series' central narrative to offer extended breathing room with the full ensemble. It follows the events of the TV run and uses that established emotional foundation to make the character moments land. The second special continues in the same vein, making these two episodes a companion piece designed to deepen investment in Gorō's relationship with his guardian angels before the story concludes.
