📖 SYNOPSIS
"Yousei Chii-tan☆" centers on Chii-tan, an animated character modeled after a real-world Asian small-clawed otter. This "fairy baby" character, who debuted on December 15, 2017, is perpetually 0 years old and has no gender. Chii-tan is easily recognizable by the turtle character, Kame-chan, which they wear on their head. The anime draws inspiration from the real-life Chii-tan, a pet otter who achieved significant social media popularity, earning her the title of honorary tourism ambassador for the city of Susaki, Kochi. The series, originally slated for an April 3, 2019 premiere, has been delayed, with a new release date yet to be announced.
