📖 SYNOPSIS
Meet Uta Sakura, a middle school kid who loves singing more than anything, and one day a coral fairy named Totto shows up and invites her to perform at the 'Super Miracle Idol Festival' on a mysterious place called AiAi Island. Sounds like a dream, right? Except this isn't just some local talent show — it's a galactic event where the competitors include robots and literal animals. Uta and her friends get special bracelets that let them transform into Idol Precure, and the whole thing is going great until a monster crashes the festival and throws the entire world into danger. This movie is basically what happens when you smash idol culture and magical girl action together at full speed. It introduces two new transformation styles — God Idol Style and Idol Heart Ribbon Style — which is apparently a first for the entire Precure franchise, so longtime fans have something fresh here. There's also a crossover element with characters from Wonderful Precure and Hirogaru Sky Precure, which adds some nice fan-service layers. If you liked the energy of Love Live or Aikatsu but wished there were more actual fight scenes mixed in with the performances, this sits right in that sweet spot. Fans of Shugo Chara will also recognize the blend of transformation magic and personal stakes. It's a Toei Animation movie dropping fall 2025, and the galactic festival setting gives it a scale that feels bigger than your typical Precure outing.
