EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode run, this follows directly from Yano-kun and Kiyoko's first date in episode 7's 'Reasons,' transplanting their still-fragile dynamic into a group setting where outside eyes add new pressure. The festival acts as a transitional episode, bridging the solo date milestone with episode 9's 'My Heart Is...,' where the relationship moves into even more personal territory as Yano visits Kiyoko's home to study.
