Xi Yangyang Yu Hui Tailang: Gu Guguai Jie You Guguai

Synopsis
Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf have been rivals for decades, defining this franchise, and somehow it keeps finding new ways to throw them into weird situations together. This time around, a mysterious wolf pack steals the anion and cation orbs, which threatens to destabilize a place called the Strange Realm. When the sheep and wolves track down the thieves, they find out their friends Handsome Guy and Black General have been kidnapped and dragged into the Inner Earth — a layered underground world full of strange explorers and dangers nobody expected. So naturally, the whole crew heads down after them. What makes this entry in the franchise work is the dynamic between characters who are technically enemies but keep ending up on the same side. Pleasant Goat's optimism bouncing off Big Big Wolf's scheming energy gives the show a comedic rhythm that holds up across 60 episodes. The Inner Earth setting is a nice change of pace too — each layer brings new environments and challenges, so it doesn't feel like they're retreading old ground. Creative Power Entertaining's animation blends traditional Chinese art influences with cleaner modern techniques, and the soundtrack genuinely adds to the adventure feel rather than just filling silence. If you grew up watching Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: Moon Castle or Adventures on the Dragon's Trail, this is that same energy with a fresh coat of paint. And if you enjoyed The World Guardians, you already know these characters can carry a longer adventure arc. It's a kids' TV series, but the kind where the writing respects its audience enough to keep things interesting.
