馃摉 SYNOPSIS
Following the death of Hiyori's grandmother, her father constructs Washimo, a humanoid robot designed to resemble the deceased woman. Complete with dentures, Washimo is intended to alleviate Hiyori's constant sadness. The robot's movement is peculiar; it travels at a speed somewhere between a snail and a rhinoceros beetle. However, this seemingly slow machine possesses an extraordinary ability: it can outpace a bullet train. The anime centers on the relationship between Hiyori and Washimo, exploring themes of grief, companionship, and the unconventional nature of family. The story focuses on their daily lives and the unique challenges and joys they experience together.
