馃摉 SYNOPSIS
"Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter" follows the idol group Wake Up, Girls! (WUG) as they navigate the aftermath of their Idol Festival victory. The seven girls, managed by Green Leaves Entertainment in Sendai, Miyagi, had overcome obstacles to defeat the national idol group I-1 club and achieve top idol status. However, the idol industry faces a recession, making their journey to maintain their success challenging.
Meanwhile, in Sendai, middle school students Hayashi Ayumi, Morishima Otome, and Atsugi Itsuka are developing a strong desire to become idols. The anime explores the themes of growth, friendship, and the dedication required to succeed in the competitive world of idols, as both WUG and the aspiring trio pursue their dreams. The story focuses on their experiences in the idol world.
