EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the intense Basara Moro confrontation in Episode 34, this episode pivots to a new adversary while reinforcing the bonds between Rokuro, Benio, and Shimon under pressure. At episode 35 of 50, the series is deep into its back half, steadily raising the stakes and layering character relationships ahead of what looks to be a thematically significant Episode 36, 'What Must Be Protected: What Is Really Important?' This is bridge territory, but the kind that strengthens the foundation rather than stalling momentum.
