EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the Gourmet Town exploration in episode 23, this installment deepens the culinary world-building and acts as a critical bridge toward the Century Soup arc — one of Toriko's most significant early quests. Setsuno's demonstration of the soup plants the seed of ambition that will drive Toriko and Komatsu into dangerous territory in the episodes ahead. At episode 24 of 147, the series is firmly in setup mode, establishing stakes and motivation before transitioning into full adventure gear.
