This ONA picks up with him arriving in the Yangjin Kingdom, meeting a character named Chen Xi, and getting pulled into a massive conflict in Kaiyuan City. There's also a place called the Deathly Abyss that holds clues about his origins, and a powerful family — the Ling clan — standing in his way.

The vibe here is classic donghua martial arts adventure with a strong mystery thread running through it. The 3D animation from Wonder Cat Animation and Yien Animation Studio handles the fight choreography well, and the power system leans into ancient martial arts traditions with enough depth to keep things interesting across 52 episodes.
